95 Rhein takes 2nd in Regionals Aug 04 2009 - Club Staff CONGRATULATIONS to the HFC 95-Rhein team that won its third consecutive state championship, followed by a finalist showing at the USYSA Southern Regional Championships. At the regional event, HFC 95-Rhein defeated Florida (5-0), Alabama (4-1), Concord Fire from Georgia (2-1), Texas South Champion, Challenge (5-1) and North Texas Finalist Defeeters (3-0). In the Region final, HFC 95-Rhein lost 2-0 to North Carolina Champion CASL, a team that later reached the USYSA National Championship finals in July. In the Southern Regional tournament, HFC 95-Rhein scored 20 goals and allowed only five. This team not only represented Oklahoma well during play, but also won the Regional Fair Play Award!
